National Day of Remembrance, 23 March 2021

Writer's picture: Darren A'CourtDarren A'Court

We cannot all gather for this occasion, but we can still remember all those who have died during this year since the coronavirus pandemic began, and all those who have been bereaved. On Sunday 21 March the intercessions at our online Eucharist will include this petition. From that date a station will be available in the churchyard, near the notice board, for the placing of floral tributes. On 23 March itself the church Office bell will be tolled just before midday, when we are invited to keep a minute's silence. Following the silence, Fr Darren will bless the floral tributes, which will remain in place for the following week. .
